Kashiv led Tanya into her room and they both sat down on the bed. Kashiv began to speak and said, "Darling, I need to talk to you about something." Tanya sat on the edge of the bed and looked at her mother, curious about what she had to say. Kashiv then spoke,

"A marriage proposal has come from the Singhania family, the royal family of Jaipur, for you." Tanya stood up in surprise and fixed her mother with a glare. "What? What did you say? Firstly, I'm not ready for marriage yet. Reject this proposal." Tanya said in one breath and crossed her arms.

Kashiv took a deep breath and tried to reason with Tanya. "Please, Tanya, you must understand, proposals like this are rare. Just imagine, you would become the wife of a king. You would be Mrs. Veer Singhania," Kashiv said, trying to hold her hand, but Tanya jerked it away.

Tanya responded, her voice rising in frustration. "Stop the manipulation, Mom. Don't try to force me into this. I don't want to get married yet!" Kashiv sighed and nodded. "Alright, fine, but at least see him once."

Tanya was about to say something in response, but the sound of a guitar and a melodious voice caught her attention. She and kashiv both turned towards the source of the music in surprise.

Tanya gave kashiv an annoyed look. "Lo aate hi iska band Baaja suru hogya, please mom iss keh dijiyega ki yeh apna baand Baaja band Kar de." She folded her arms, frustrated because of annoyed, her family believed that music, singing, and dancing were a waste of time, which is why she was always compared to Tanishka for these passions.

(As soon as she arrived, her music started playing. Please Mom, tell her to stop this.)

Kashiv's jaw tightened as she rushed towards Tanishka's room. Tanya stood alone, a sly smirk playing on her face "Mom kya swagt kregi Tera Tanishka tu bas dekhti jaa" she whispered with a cheeky grin.

(You will see Tanishka how mom will welcome you.)

Kashiv stormed into Tanishka's room, frustration written all over her face. Tanishka, who had been sitting near her window holding her guitar, looked up in confusion. "What's wrong, Mom?" she asked, getting up from her seat. Kashiv strode towards her and grabbed the guitar from her, tossing it out the window.

"Why did you do that, Mom?" Tanishka cried, desperately holding back her tears. "Enough of this bullshit music, it's driving me crazy! Iss band Baja se ghar ya naam nhi Banta h padhai se Banta h. Doctor, engineer aur Collecter bane se hota h na ki ek singer bane se" Kashiv firmly grabbed one of Tanishka's arms and scolded her.

(This music doesn't make a name or a home; education does. Being doctor, engineer, or collector is make a name ot home not being singer.)

Tanishka whimpered in pain, her heart shattering with each of her mother's harsh words. Despite the stinging pain in her arm, she quietly protested, her voice trembling, "But I ... love music."

Kashiv pushed Tanishka hard, causing her to fall to the floor. Tanishka gasped in pain, her voice quivering, "Mom ..." Kashiv's cold demeanor showed no sympathy as she continued to hurt her daughter's heart further. "This is your place, in front of me and Tanya's success. Tum jaisi beti se acha hota ki meri beti hi na hoti, you're a shame to me." With those harsh words, Kashiv left the room, leaving Tanishka on the floor, tears streaming down her face and her breath catching in her throat.

(It would have been better if I didn't have a daughter like you)

Tanishka remained on the floor, her body shaking with sobs as the door slammed shut, Kashiv's cruel words echoing in her ears. Her heart ached with the weight of her mother's rejection, and the pain of the fall added to her misery. She curled up on the floor, tears streaming down her face, feeling utterly alone and defeated.

She could feel the sting of the bruise on her arm, but the emotional pain was far more intensely as her mother continued to crush her dreams and leave her on the cold, hard floor.

As Tanishka sat there, the pain in her body and heart intertwined, she whispered to herself, "Do I really deserve this much hate?" Her voice was shaky and filled with despair, echoing the pain of her mother's harsh treatment she felt.

Tanishka drew her knees to her chest and cried, feeling small and vulnerable. The emotional turmoil she was going through was overwhelming, and the tears fell silently as she desperately hugged her legs, seeking comfort in the only way she could.

Tanya was walking towards her room when her phone rang. Glancing at the display, she saw that it was an unknown number, but Truecaller identified it as being from the Jaipur police. She picked up the call and spoke into the phone, "Hello." On the other end, Officer Sunil spoke, "Hello, I'm Officer Sunil. Do you know Advik Rana?"

Tanya's face immediately showed concern, as Advik was her patient. She wondered what he had done and why the police were asking about him. Fearing the worst, she inquired, "Is he alright?" Officer Sunil's voice remained firm as he paused for a moment before replying, "He's fine, we arrested him for engaging in a fight and physically assaulting some men. He also threatened them with a knife."

Hearing this news, Tanya's eyes widened, and she was absolutely stunned to find out that Advik had been involved in a fight and was now in custody. She quickly said, "Alright, I'm coming," and ended the call.

Instantly, she rushed to her car and instructed her driver to take her somewhere, but she didn't disclose her destination.

The driver looked at her, concern etched on his face and asked, "Where to, Tanya ma'am?" Tanya looked back at him, clearly irritated and replied with an irritated tone, "The police station."

The driver's concern grew a bit further, and he tried asking again, "Is everything okay? Why do you want to go to the police station?" Tanya's irritation grew, and her voice raised in response, "Why do you need to know? Just do your job and drive me there." She got into the car and firmly closed the door.

The driver fell silent after Tanya's short, irritated response. Feeling the tension in the air, he started the car and began driving towards the police station, still unaware of the reason behind Tanya's sudden and urgent need to go there.

After a ride, The car finally arrived at the police station, and Tanya stepped out, her mind preoccupied with thoughts about what she might find once inside. The atmosphere outside the station was tense and filled with an air of anticipation. Tanya took a deep breath as she looked around the police station. The weight of the moment hung heavily in the air, and her mind was filled with questions and unease.

She wasn't sure what to expect, but she knew that whatever it was, it was connected to her patient, Advik. As Tanya entered the police station, she was immediately met with the hustle and bustle of police officers and other people going about their business. The air was thick with the smell of cold metal and sweat, creating a sense of tension in the atmosphere, the sound of her footsteps echoing through the hall. The air inside was cool and crisp, and a sense of professionalism hung heavily in the atmosphere.

Tanya quickly made her way to Officer Sunil and asked urgently, "Where's Advik?" Officer Sunil gestured towards a direction, and when Tanya looked, she saw Advik sitting on the floor in the jail cell, bearing some injuries.

"He fought with some men in front of the hospital, and he threatened us when we questioned him," Officer Sunil said.

Tanya looked back and forth between the officer and Advik, then sighed. "I'm sorry for his behavior. What do I need to do to get him released from jail?"

After completing the necessary procedures to secure Advik's release from jail, Officer Sunil finally released Advik from jail, and Tanya quickly rushed towards him. She gently cupped his face with her hands, examining the wounds on his face and hands. "Why did you do that?" she asked, concern lacing her voice. "Let's go to the hospital and rest there."

Advik was an orphan who had witnessed the death of his parents at a young age, leaving him with severe trauma. He had been admitted to the same hospital where Tanya worked as a cardiologist. Despite her profession, she cared for him deeply and treated him tenderly.

Advik silently gazed at Tanya, his eyes filled with a mixture of guilt and gratitude but he nodded in agreement, allowing her to lead him towards the hospital.

At the hospital, Tanya led Advik to his room and helped him sit on the edge of the bed. She retrieved a first-aid kit, carefully applying ointment to his wounds. Advik winced in pain, "I'm sorry," he murmured softly.

In response, Tanya smiled tenderly and gently squeezed his cheeks. "It shouldn't happen again," she said, putting the first-aid kit aside. Advik thanked her for releasing him and promised it wouldn't happen again.

Tanya nodded and made him lie down in bed. "Get some rest, alright? I have to go home as it's almost evening." Advik nodded and waved goodbye to her. As Tanya left the room, Advik retrieved his diary and a knife.

He cut his palm and stored all the blood in a container. Then he took his brush and opened his diary, where he drew Tanya in every moment with blood. He started drawing her moments from today. A creepy smile appeared on his face as he mumbled, "Tum sirf meri ho, Dr Tanya sirf meri h" He is madly in love with her, but Tanya is aware of his madness.

(You are only mine, Dr. Tanya, only mine.)

Tanishka's Pov

I emerged from the bathroom, refreshed after taking a shower. It was almost evening, and tomorrow is Mahashivratri, so the whole family was busy preparing for the festival. I and Tanya had agreed to talk in the evening as they had much to share after five long years.

As i walked down the corridor, i spotted Tanya heading toward her bedroom. "Tanu," i called out, then ran towards her. The sound of my anklets echoed through the hallway. Then I said "You finally arrived," Tanya smiled and entered her bedroom, i followed her in the bedroom.

I laid down on the bed, and Tanya joined me, sitting beside me on the edge of the bed. I looked at her and asked, "How is your life going?" She let out a soft chuckle and replied, "Good, but also a headache. You know how mom is always pestering me about getting married."

I raised her eyebrows, looking curious. "What?" I asked. She laid down next to me and explained, "She wants me to get married." I chuckled and gently squeezed Tanya's hand. "Mujhe bhi lagta h ki tumhe shaadi Kar leni chahiye " I said. She rolled her eyes and grew visibly annoyed, replying, "Tu pagal h, Matlab mai kisse bhi shaadi karlu. Na jaan na pahchan aur shaadi karlu."

(I also think you should get married)

(You are crazy, I mean, I could marry anyone. No knowledge, no acquaintance, and just get married.)

I chuckled and tried to calm her down. "Calm down, I'm just giving you advice," i said. She looked at the bedsheets and sighed, "It's not that I don't want to get married. In fact, I really want to marry someone who loves me but unfortunately there is no one." she confessed.

I gave her a comforting smile and squeezed her hand, "I love you, no matter what." We both chuckles then i asked with a playful tone, "So, what's the name of the lucky guy who sent you an marriage proposal?" Tanya replied while scrolling through her phone, "He is the King of the city, Veer Singhania."

I mumbled the name to myself, "Veer Singhania" in a soft, questioning tone.

Tanya then inquired, "Now tell me about your dream boy." I chuckled and responded, "If I tell you, you'll only laugh and say it's all just fantasy." She chuckled and jokingly called me "dumb" in response.

After spending a while together, I eventually fell asleep in Tanya's bedroom. I was feeling very tired that day as i hadn't eaten dinner and soon drifted off to sleep.

Veer's Pov

After attending several meetings, I finally returned home, but it was quite late. I entered the house to find my mother waiting for me at the dining table. My smile turned concerned as I knew she always stayed up whenever I was late. It reminded me of how she used to behave with my dad when I was a child.

"Maa sa aapko so jaana chahiye tha" I told her as soon as she heard my voice. She looked at me and then approached me, replying with a warm smile, "Tumhe pata h na mujhe tumhare bina khana khane ki aadat nahi h"

(Mom, you should have gone to sleep)

(You know I can't eat without you)

She caressed my cheek and said, "Have a seat." I nodded and sat down. Then a servant placed food in front of me. I took a bite, but my mother's gaze was fixated on me. Without looking at her, I asked:

"Kab tak aap mera aise wait karti rhegi"

(How long will you keep waiting for me like this?)

She sat beside my chair and replied, "Jab tak meri bahu nhi aa jaati" I looked at her and sighed, "Mom, if you really want me to get married, I'll do it."

She smiled widely upon hearing my response.

(Until my daughter-in-law arrives.)

She looked at me and asked, "You will, right?" I nodded, still focused on eating. My mother continued to look at me, and I could sense she wanted to say something. I kept eating my food, waiting for her to speak. There was a momentary silence before

she spoke with a nostalgic tone, saying, "Actually, I've seen a girl who I think would be perfect for you, her name is Dr. Tanya Verma. She is very beautiful. Let me show you her picture." She took her phone from the table, unlocked it, and showed me that girl's photo. What's her name? Yeah Dr Tanya Verma

"Her name is Dr. Tanya Verma, she is a cardiologist and a highly paid doctor," she explained. I took the phone from her hand and looked at the girl's picture. Her large brown doe eyes, chubby cheeks, pink plump lips, and long eyelashes were incredibly attractive. "She is good looking." I replied.

I returned the phone to my mother, who continued to look at me with a hopeful expression. The air between us was filled with anticipation, and I knew she was silently praying for me to agree to consider this marriage proposal.

I smiled at her and said, "Alright, I agree to this marriage, but I want to talk to her or know about her opinion towards marriage." She nodded and replied, "We haven't received a response from her side yet, but we will get one soon."

I finished my food and stood up from the chair, saying, "Okay, fine." I mumbled and then washed my hands before walking towards my room.

I entered my room and approached the closet. I took out a white cotton kurta.

As I unbuttoned my shirt, my abs became visible. I removed my shirt and threw it onto the bed. After changing into the kurta, I began reflecting on the marriage proposal that I had agreed to.

My mind was filled with thoughts about the girl, her opinion regarding marriage, and my aspirations as a husband.

I was determined to be a good husband, promising myself to become the best version of myself for her, avoiding the mistakes my father once made. I want to love and comfort her in every possible way I can.

My determination to be a good husband grew stronger. I knew that I wouldn't be able to love her without knowing her first, without understanding her world, her desires, her quirks, her insecurities.
